Teddy Sinclair
Born as Natalia Noemi Cappuccini (August 15, 1986, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England), Teddy Sinclair is a singer, songwriter, producer, and actress. She began acting as a child, appearing in the series All About Me, Casualty, Coronation Street, and the radio drama The Archers. Natalia's dream was always to be a singer; in 2005, she adopted the stage name Verbalicious and released the single "Don't Play Nice," which reached the Top 20 on the UK ...and Scottish music charts. After several stage name changes, she signed with Interscope Records under the name Natalia Kills, releasing two studio albums: "Perfectonist" in 2011 and "Trouble" in 2013. During this period, Natalia collaborated with Will.i.am, Far East Movement, and LMFAO. As a form of promotion, she opened shows for artists such as Katy Perry, Robyn, Kesha, Kelis, and The Black Eyed Peas. In 2014, her contract with the label ended. In May of the same year, Natalia married singer and producer William Sinclair (artistically Willy Moon). She then decided to use her childhood nickname "Teddy" and her husband's surname "Sinclair," officially performing as Teddy Natalia Noemi Sinclair. That same year, Natalia and Madonna were in a writing session for the album 'Rebel Heart,' where they wrote eight songs, but only "Holy Water" made the final tracklist. In 2015, Teddy and Willy were invited to be judges on The X Factor New Zealand, which resulted in a worldwide scandal after the couple attacked a contestant. After the show aired, both were fired. Days later, Natalia reported that not everything we see on TV is real and that it was all just a publicity stunt gone wrong. Universal Music Group Publishing confirmed this report and added that the couple is under a wide-ranging gag order. In February 2016, Teddy and Willy independently announced the band Cruel Youth with their debut single "Mr. Watson," and months later, the EP "+30mg" was released. Also in 2016, Teddy announced that she had co-written Rihanna's "Kiss It Better," a track from her album "ANTI," resulting in Teddy Sinclair receiving her first GRAMMY Award nomination in the Best R&B Song category. Over the past 10 years, she has dedicated herself to writing songs with a variety of artists, including Madonna and Rihanna. She has also written songs with Alicia Keys, Cyndi Lauper, John Mayer, Kiiara, Khalid, David Guetta, BLACKPINK, Rich Brian, Cautious Clay, Young Thug, Jonas Blue, and many others. Teddy has also written songs for several films and television series. As a singer, she is currently active in the band Cruel Youth, where she recently released three songs for the soundtrack of the fourth season of 'Godfather of Harlem' with the producer and singer Swizz Beatz. In total, she wrote about 7 songs for the series, there are still songs that have not been released. She also worked with Swizz on the opening track for the series 'Hotel Cocaine'. Her song "Crown Don't Make You King", with Conway the machine for 'Godfather Of Harlem', was nominated for 'Outstanding Original Song' on Black Reel TV Awards. April 2025, via Instagram, she revealed that she had been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia, a condition that causes severe facial pain.
