Takuya Iba
Originally from Osaka, Japan, Takuya Iba started his international modeling career in 1995. He has been hired by major advertisers like Asahi Bank of DBS, appearing in large scale print and billboard campaigns in Japan, Hong Kong, Thailand, and throughout Asia. Reaching into the highest levels of modeling, Esquire magazine featured his images for publication in Hong Kong. Away from the modeling world, Takuya has made a successful transition to acting in television, motion picture, and live theater. With his dynamic look and extensive talents, Takuya has been cast in a wide range of parts from the "Bad Guy" thug in the movie "Rondo," across the spectrum to the role of a SWAT in the film "Monday" directed by SABU. Takuya is a seasoned regular in the world of Japanese television, with work on all of the major networks, including "Ashita no Kita Yoshio" (Fuji TV), "Tokujyou Kabach" (TBS), "Kuroi Taiyou" (ANB), "Taidaima" (NHK), as well as Nippon Television. In live theater, he has tested his skills in plays with "Gogo Eggman" at the ROUTE 30 Theater under the director Kazuki Kuwahara; at the Community Theater in the production of "Moon River;" at the Green Theatre's "Salon" directed by Erika Sakurazawa, and "For Those We Love" at Southern Theater.
