80 years ago, one of the most brutal and bloody wars in world history began — the Great Patriotic War. Director Ali Khamraev, musicians Leonid and Peter Lundstrem, writer Andrey Gelasimov and students of the Gorky Literary Institute will be transported back in their conversations years ago and remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. They will talk about the unbearable truth of the war; about what is the truth captured in literature, music and cinema; and also discuss what will happen to us if this happens again.
