A tsar's youngest son, Ivan, is destined to marry a frog who turns out to be the enchanted Vasilisa the Beautiful. When he breaks her spell too soon and loses her to the immortal Koschei, Ivan sets out on a quest through dark forests and ancient magic to win her back.
