Suddenly strange shadows crawl along the walls, and an old woman appears in the hut. She asks to spend the night, but Glasha says that her parents, when they left for the fair, were severely asked her: do not let strangers into the house. But the old woman persuades Glasha to leave her, and when Glasha goes to bed, the old woman kidnaps little Dunechka and takes her to the forest.
