A pair of “Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Time Lords” put the Second Doctor on trial in a chaotic Doctor Who parody full of wordplay and meta gags. The Doctor tries to defend himself by showing off his foes Quarks (“Kirsty Wark?”), Yeti (“Yeti nother excuse”), Ice Warriors (“a nice warrior”), Cybermen, and Daleks (dismissed for “copyright reasons”) but the puppets remain unconvinced. Ultimately, they sentence him to exile on Earth in the “1970s (or maybe the 1980s),” force a regeneration, and pick his new face Worzel Gummidge after he rejects all other options. A surreal, rapid-fire comedy sketch that lovingly skewers Doctor Who lore and BBC bureaucracy alike.
