In a corner of eastern England a climate change story is unfolding which could have major repercussions for the whole of the UK. Recent modelling has indicated that huge areas of fenland East Anglia could be flooded within 30 years if sea levels continue to rise at current rates. Almost entirely made from re-cycled footage Waterlands tells the story of the fens from the point of view of the people at the forefront of climate change in the UK, while also setting it in the wider context of threatened coastal communities throughout the world.
