La Terra Promessa is a documentary comparing the stories of two Italians who immigrated to the United States in the 1960’s and 70’s, exploring their experiences, traumas, and hopes for how they will be remembered. Inspired by stories I would hear as a child, I documented these experiences my grandparents had thought they had forgotten.
