

The old man Leki Amzat lives with his grandchildren, Ajar and Ramazan. Ramazan is a tractor driver. Their friend, Jangir, a Komsomol member, visits the young people. This does not please the merchant Mirza, who wants to marry Ajar. From the warehouse manager of the Soviet farm, Bigai, he learns that Jangir is the son of the murderer of Ramazan's father and informs Amzat and Ramazan of this. The old man demands a blood test.
