Rupa, a rich girl, is unexpectedly pregnant, and in Bangladesh she needs to get married before she can have a baby. Rupa's mother lives in the United States with her emigrated brother and cancer-stricken father, and they want Rupa to emigrate to the United States as soon as possible to join them. The latest film by Bangladeshi filmmaker Kamal Ahmed Simon, an architect by training, was awarded the World Cinema Fund grant at the Berlin Film Festival.
