An American billionaire's daughter is obsessed with the idea of marrying a count. Her father would prefer her to marry the son of a competitor. So he comes up with the idea of hiring the dashing Heinz to spoil her aristocratic ways. Heinz introduces himself to her as Count Rüttow-Mallwitz and takes her to Europe. There, the two fall in love, but when she finds out about the scam, she indignantly takes the next ship and returns to America.
