Photographer and director Daikichi Amano, a true luminary in the world of underground cinema, stages here various tableaux vivants where a young woman tortures, embraces and makes love with huge toads while being the prey of the worst lusts of two strange beings. Directly inspired by antique prints from the Edo period specific to the ancestral Japanese culture, this provocative and outrageous cinematographic art can be considered according to the eye that contemplates it, from the angle of the abomination or the sublime.
