After getting the stinkeye for attempting to eat an egg & cress sandwich at a bus stop, shy 70-year-old Dorothy escapes to a nearby park. There, her attention is grabbed by two young gender-nonconforming queers, Mars and Mary. Dorothy's observation from afar suddenly goes wrong when Mary notices her staring and the queers confront her. But it doesn't take long for them to realise that Dorothy is deep in the closet. Determined to help, the vibrant duo take the reluctant Dororthy under their wing for the day. As a consequence, Dorothy is forced to face her fears as she finally expresses her authentic self to the world.
